Trips custom tailered for each and every angler...

Jan-March
These can be tricky yet rewarding months to fish in Florida. The water temperature reaches its lowest point, but on the bright side the warming water brings great fishing. When the water is at its coolest we fish deeper water and slow our presentations. We catch some super snook in the winter time, flounder, pompano and many of our largest trout of the year. Generally this time of year we fish the inshore waters of the Indian River Lagoon. The Lagoon really shines this time of year and we experience our best water clarity due to a lack of precipitation. These are excellent sailfish months and we also catch nice dolphin throughout the winter months. Cobia fishing begins to heat up around February and continues through the summer.
April-June
April and May starts one of my personal favorite seasons. This time of year is an exciting time to fish, but we always seem to experience windy days. Luckily, the Indian River Lagoon has numerous spoil islands with irregular shorelines that allow us to get out of the wind to target fish. In May and June the redfish begin to move our way and they school on the shallow flats. Snook and trout fishing is great and top-water plug fishing starts getting hot with the warmer water. May and June also kicks off our Permit and Tarpon fishing season. We also enjoy catching good numbers of cobia, kingfish, huge Jack Crevalle and sharks while targeting Permit and Tarpon. Dolphin fishing begins to peak and our largest dolphin of the year are usually caught in April and May. These aggressive fish make great fly targets for those of you who want to try your luck at blue water fly fishing. The summer time sailfishing remains steady and nice cobias can be found on the reefs and wrecks.
July-September
In July good fishing usually continues although the best bite will come early or late. The Heat in July and August can be brutal during the day and fish never seem to feed as well. If you would like to fish a full day during these months we will fish early, and be off the water before the mid day sun becomes too hot. I will then gladly drop you off at your residence or hotel and pick you up later that day for an early evening fishing session. This enables us to experience an exciting summer bite without dealing with harsh mid-day conditions.  Towards late September my anglers are lucky enough to experience the beginning of the Fall Mullet run and perfect temperatures.
October-December
October signals the peak of the mullet run and is the most exciting time of year for a lot of inshore anglers. This time of year we have great top water and fly action. The bait is thick and the action is steady. Multiple Snook, Trout, Redfish, Pompano, and even a few Tarpon can be expected while wading your way through Jack Crevelle, Bluefish, Ladyfish, and Spanish Mackerel. As Fall turns to Winter our water temperatures drop quickly. This occurrence shifts our focus from the shallow flats to deeper waters. The cycle repeats itself yet again. Sailfising peaks from November to early January. We have to pick our best weather days but when we get out the live bait sailfish action off of Ft. Pierce is second to NONE!!!
