Captain Scott Crippen was born and raised in Fort Pierce Florida and grew up fishing the Indian River  from Stuart to Titusville.  He has spent most of his life chasing Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, and every other game fish that resides in the Indian River Lagoon.  Fishing Tournaments and curiosity pushed Captain Scott to explore every piece of water in the Sunshine State from the Southern Keys to the Big Bend.  Scott Graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and after graduation moved to the Tampa Bay area.  After living on the West Coast for several years Captain Scott learned much of the West Florida waters which he still fishes  today.  Scott moved back to his native town of Fort Pierce and further pursued his dream when he bought White’s Tackle (www.whitestackle.com) in 2007. He now operates his outfitting and guiding operation out of the new White’s Tackle building at 1106 S. US1 in Ft. Pierce. (Click here for a map)

Captain Scott’s Fly and Light Tackle Tournament fishing experience has given him the opportunity to learn many hot spots other than his local waters.  This fact alone makes Captain Scott Crippen’s fishing Expeditions truly unique.  Come join Scott on a fly fishing or light tackle expedition in the Lagoon, or let him customize an all inclusive trip to a destination(s) that sparks your interest. Some favorite spots away from home are Steinhatchee, Cedar Key, Charlotte Harbor, Titusville, the Everglades, and the Florida Keys.  See you soon!
